Curlvolve Terms of Use

What Curlvolve is. Curlvolve is a hair-care companion app. It reads what a photo can show about your curls, asks about the rest, and builds a routine adapted to your hair and your local weather. It is general information, not medical advice, and it never diagnoses. If your scalp is sore, your edges are thinning, you have sudden or patchy hair loss, or flaking with redness, see a doctor or dermatologist.

No promises about results. We promise the process, never the outcome. Hair grows about 1 cm a month; nothing in the app changes your curl pattern, porosity or length beyond that. Results vary.

Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old (16 where local law requires). By using the app you confirm this.

Your account. You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple ID secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is permanent.

Curlvolve Pro (subscription). The read is free. Pro unlocks everything you do about it: Today, Routines, Products, Progress, Ask, Check-in, the 3-Week Challenge, Hair Nutrition and Your shelf. Plans: yearly, monthly and weekly, at the prices shown in the app in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID account settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store terms. No free trial is offered.

Ask. Ask is an AI assistant, not a person and not a doctor. Answers can be wrong. Use your judgement, and see a professional for anything medical. Ask is limited to five questions a day. It requires your explicit permission to send your question to our AI provider (see the Privacy Policy).

Product information. Ingredient verdicts describe how a product fits your hair and routine. They are not safety ratings and say nothing about whether a product is safe or harmful. Ingredient lists change; we show the date a formula was checked, and you can report a wrong list in the app. Prices shown are indicative; the shop's page is always right. Links to shops are plain links; we earn nothing from them.

Acceptable use. Do not misuse the app, attempt to extract our models or data, or use it to harm others.

Intellectual property. The app, its design and its content are ours or our licensors'. Ingredient rules are adapted from CurlsBot (MIT licence); product data may come from Open Beauty Facts (Open Database License); weather data is provided by Apple Weather. Attributions are in Settings › Acknowledgements.

Availability and changes. We may change or discontinue features. We will not take away what you have already paid for during a paid period.

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, Curlvolve is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
